Shifting from manager to leader
There are three strategies to guide you in the transition from manager to leader. The first one is to enhance your personal growth. Secondly, you have to expand your perspectives. And thirdly, you have to energize people and relationships.
The activities you are doing right now, might not contribute to your transformation. It doesn’t develop you towards a great leader. So gaining insight into your current activities, helps you to understand what you can change already now.
Future leadership
Traditional leadership is mainly focused on our left-brain. This part of our brain is responsible for our logic, rational thinking, and analytical skills. It focuses on order, details, and numbers. However, computers and robots are really good at these left-brain activities. So, in order to be of value in the future, we need to re-activate our right-brain. This is the part of our brain that is responsible for emotions, music, rhythm, dimensions, fantasy, and play. Our future requires right-brain leadership. That is why the Velites Leadership Program embraces right-brain activities in future leadership development. Via the structure and content, we activate both your right- and left-brain in our modules.
